The story is engrossing, it is filled with moments of joy, sadness.Robert Duvall, portrayed the charismatic Augustus "Gus" McCrae, brought a perfect blend of charm, wit, and vulnerability to his character- A man of spirit. Tommy Lee Jones, playing the stoic and duty-bound Woodrow F.Call. The friendship, loyalty, and love are so touching.

簡直是魔幻現(xiàn)實的炫技之作。陰沉朦朧的藍，濃郁的黑，游走在過去與現(xiàn)在，幻想與真實。充當魔幻與現(xiàn)實的界限的霧，利用到了極致，剛剛好，不多不少。此片的構(gòu)圖與剪輯堪稱一絕，插敘的敘事使故事多了些晦澀，但主線清晰完全不會影響對故事的理解。
